Defining Project Scope; We set up meetings with the client and the design team that will help define the project’s requirements; a well-defined project leads to more accurate pricing. Remember, the most money you can save on a project is in the drawings and specifications.

Preliminary Budget and Schedule; We will produce a preliminary budget and schedule to use in decision making.

Tendering and Analysis; Prepare tender packages for bidders and conduct critical analysis of all quotes to determine the best offer for the dollar. We ensure the bidders have $ 2m in liability insurance and a WCB insurance account in good standing. Once the successful Trades have been selected we will provide detailed contracts for each to sign, spelling out their scopes and obligations.

Site Administration; During the course of the Project we provide onsite supervision and administer the Project through to completion. We hold regular onsite Trade meetings to discuss safe work practices review progress and resolve any issues that present themselves. We also review and approve, or reject all invoicing from Trades and Suppliers passing on to the Client a monthly progress draw for payment. During the course of the Project there are inspections required by Municipal Authorities, Consultants and third party Engineers, we keep a record of these inspections and the results of their reviews.

Commissioning and Handover; At the completion of the Project we will collect all required “Close Out Documents”, Schedules from the Consultants, fire alarm and sprinkler verification, welding certificates and so on to obtain the Occupancy Permit. We also set up training sessions for the Client and his staff on all the systems operations and maintenance.
